Phoenix Course Update #5: JS Commands

We hope yours is off to a smooth and safe start. After a much-needed break, we’re back in the saddle for another ride around the sun. 🤠

Today we added a new module on JS Commands to our Full-Stack Phoenix course.

JS Commands let you run common client-side JavaScript operations without writing custom JS. Think showing or hiding content, adding or removing CSS classes, applying transitions, and the like. You can do it all with Elixir code! Plus you can use JS Commands to asynchronously push events to the server and immediately apply client-side operations to perform optimistic UI updates.

In this new video we explore a variety of JS Commands, and have some fun along the way. It’s a cheery way to ease back into the swing of things to start the new year.
