iPhone and Rails Studios in Long Beach

The Pragmatic Studio is coming to Southern California, and we’re bringing two popular courses! Join us in Long Beach this December to learn how to build iPhone or Rails applications like the pros. Registration is now open for both courses.

It’s been a while since we’ve visited SoCal, and we’ve heard from a number of folks holding out for these Studios to come their direction. So we suspect these courses will sell out fairly quickly. If you wait until December feels "right around the corner", you may miss out. Plus you can save $300 on early registration!

It’s a double-header week:

iPhone Studio

December 1-4 in Long Beach, CA

In this Studio you’ll learn how to create full-featured iPhone applications from two experienced iPhone developers and authors: Bill Dudney and Daniel Steinberg. You’ll come away from this Studio knowing Xcode, Interface Builder, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch programming, and the APIs included in the iPhone SDK 3.1. You’ll be ready to create your first iPhone application, or improve upon your existing application.

Rails Studio

December 1-3 in Long Beach, CA

In this Studio you’ll learn how to build high-quality web applications fast from Dave Thomas and Chad Fowler. You’ll come away from this Studio with the confidence and skills to build your own Rails applications: from idea to deployment. If you’re just getting into Rails, or you’ve started building a Rails application but need help putting all the pieces together, this course is for you.
